Local Private-Public Child Care Partnerships

Mid-Coast Resource Development Center is a partner in the Alliance for Children’s Care, Education, and Supporting Services (ACCESS). ACCESS is an alliance of early care and education providers and advocates whose mission is to ensure the availability of family focused services through collaborative relationships with traditional and non-traditional partners.

There are eleven regional collaboratives organized throughout Maine. Partners include employers, parents, child care providers both in centers and family child care homes, civic organizations, local child care resource and referral agencies, Head Start, faith-based organizations, law enforcement, government representatives, and the media.
